Winston Starts The Day Off With His Maiden Win

After a very encouraging last preparation, Winston was back at the races on November 23rd at Tatura in a 3YO Maiden over 1450 metres. With apprentice Melea Castle aboard she gave the son of Churchill a dig out of the gates landing second outside the leader. With Winston travelling well before the turn Melea gave him his head and he strode away to win impressively by 2 lengths.
