Gladys Gets Her Group 1 Win

After running second twice at Group 1 level, both times behind Champion Colt Tentyris, this time in My Gladiola kicked off her preparation in the Group 1 Moir Stakes at Sandown on September 5th 2026. From a good gate jockey Jamie Mott had the grey mare settling 3rd just off the back of the leader. On turning Jamie steered Gladys to the inside of the track, and with her great turn of foot she was able to run down the leader and score a .35 length margin victory and a well deserved Group 1 victory.
