Vegas Diva Gives Luke his 18th Birthday Present

After a few below par performances it was great to see Vegas Diva back in the winners stall making it her third win from thirteen starts. In a Benchmark 58 over 1000 metres at her home track, young apprentice Luke Cartwright settled the daughter of American Pharoah third on the fence. On turning Luke angled off the fence and the mare sustained a long sprint to score narrowly on the line giving Luke a winner on the day of his 18th birthday.
