After not much going right with his trip to the Sunshine Coast and then a couple of wet tracks to contend with on his past two runs in Melbourne, conditions looked ideal at Caulfield on September 27th 2026 in the Listed Testa Rossa Stakes over 1400 metres. With Jamie Mott aboard and barrier 1, Regal Zeus showed his usual gate speed and again found himself in front of the field not long after jumping. Before the turn, Jamie poored the pressure on and Zeus kicked clear on turning and held off any challenges to score a comfortable 1.5 length margin win making it his fifth listed win and twelve career wins in total.
