Musandam Wins Maribyrnong Trial Stakes

After winning both of her jump outs the daughter of Snitzel looked to be a natural early going two year old, and what better of a race to kick off in than the Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes at Flemington on October 3rd 2026. Beginning well from the gate and showing good early speed, jockey Jamie Mott was able to clear the field early and get across to the rail in the lead. When the challenges presented around the 400 metre mark, Jamie asked the filly to extend and that she did, to lead all the way and win her first start by an impressive 1.75 length margin.
