Arrised Hits His Straps At Echuca

After some promising performances over unsuitable distances and tracks it was now time for the 3yo son of Stratum to get his chance on a good track and an ideal distance. In a 3yo + Up Maiden over 1624mtrs on the 15th September 2012, jockey Matthew Gatt was able to position Arrised in a perfect position soon after jumping. In a slow run race and with plenty of horse underneath him, Matt decided to make his move at the 500mtr mark which proved to be a good one as once Arrised was given full rein he powered away for a commanding 3 length win.
