stahnado unleashes finishing burst

After a very solid first up appearance at Pakenham, Stahnado was off to Moe on February 22nd 2026 in a Benchmark 56 over 1000 metres. From the outside gate Apprentice Sam Kennedy had the daughter of Toronado settling in the back half off the field. With a very patient ride, Sam held the mare together on turning before giving her full reign, and she sprinted quickly to pick up the leaders and scored a .75 length margin victory.
